If you read my blog post entitled “What’s Your Story?” you read about how God revealed his “plan for me”. God then burdened me with a passion to communicate his plan to children. His plan is as simple and true for them as it is for me – not easy, but simple! I began searching for a tool to communicate God’s plan to children and struggled to find what I was looking for. I was seeking a children’s book that not only explained the gospel message in clear easy steps but also a book that explained what it means to follow Jesus after children accept him into their lives. Believing in Jesus is the beginning of one’s spiritual journey. Following Jesus is a life-long submission of abiding in him through all of life’s joys and trials.

I have worked with children for over thirty years and I have recently seen a HUGE shift in what they experience in their young lives. Childhood is rarely innocent anymore. Their world is wicked and evil. Their life is hard. They need hope! They need peace! Abiding in Jesus is the answer, not only for adults but also for children. Children can begin to be transformed by the powerful work of the Holy Spirit and can make a difference for him right in their own homes, classrooms, and playgrounds.
